Mannie has been serving clients for 16 years successfully staging homes throughout the DC/MD/VA area with over $200+ million in staged home sales. She has received numerous awards for

her staging work throughout the years and has been recognized as one of the top home staging

companies in the Northern VA area. She has successfully branded her business in the area and

works with several Real Estate brokerages as their exclusive home staging company. She has been asked to speak at various brokerages, conferences and events related to home selling and home staging as an expert in her field. She is also an active member of the International Association of Home Stagers (IAHSP). She has several home staging certifications that she has earned throughout the years to advance her home staging education and skills.


Mannie has been featured in many articles, magazines and in the Washington Times for her home staging expertise and her staging work. She has designed two Home Staging courses, One Day Home Staging Seminar and How to Run a Successful Home Staging Business. She has successfully trained, coached and mentored multiple individuals in how to run a successful home staging business and a number of her students are now running their own successful home staging business.  Mannie is constantly pivoting her business to keep up with the ever changing real estate environment. She realizes the power of social media platforms (FB and IG) and uses them as marketing and branding tools to stay on trend and to educate people on home staging in a relatable way that is fun and educational.


Prior to becoming the owner of The Staging Fashionista, LLC, Mannie served in several leadership roles as an Executive Director managing budgets, human resources, training, information management, general services and government contracts in the Federal government. She also served in the Senior Executive Service, the highest level of achievement in the Federal government. She was the Director of HR Shared Service. She managed a staff of over 200 employees and served as the senior advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Human Resources.  In this role she was in charge of marketing the shared services concept throughout the agency and branding the overall concept. She was very successful in this role and was able to persuade HR offices to move their services to a centralized location. This saved the agency millions of dollars in yearly staff and building rental costs. Centralizing HR services to Charleston SC, helped reduce costs and made the HR process more efficient. She received a Superior Honor Award for her accomplishments, one of the highest awards given to a federal employee.
