Events Policy

Last Updated: September 27, 2023

Event Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to all the terms and conditions for event registration and ticket purchase, including our no-refund policy for any reason. In the event that you are unable to attend the conference, you have the option to sell your ticket to another attendee. However, please note that the remaining balance must be paid in full at that time, regardless of where we are in the payment plan process. To transfer your paid-in-full ticket purchase to another individual, it is essential to provide us with their information so that they can be properly registered in our system.

Please be aware that the registration funds collected throughout the year are used for planning and preparation purposes, which include covering deposits for our conference. If you choose to purchase the payment plan option, it is your responsibility to make all payments on time in accordance with the stipulations communicated online and via phone by our team. Even if you find yourself unable to attend the event, please note that you are still responsible for the final purchase of the ticket, and no refunds will be issued. However, you do have the option to transfer your ticket to another attendee and arrange for them to pay you an agreed-upon price.

Heath Compliance Policy

We kindly request your understanding that IAHSP cannot be held liable for any exposure to the COVID-19 virus or any other variation of a virus that may arise as a result of attending our event. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you also agree to hold IAHSP harmless for any illness you may contract due to your attendance at our event. In the event that social distancing requirements and/or mask requirements or restrictions are in place at the time of our event, it is imperative that you adhere to and abide by all the guidelines that are required.  Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in your removal from the event.

Refund Policy

Please note that there are no refunds available for purchased tickets. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, but we would like to emphasize that IAHSP is not responsible for any incidents or circumstances that may prevent a ticketed attendee from attending the event. This includes situations such as COVID-19, Acts of God, weather conditions, travel issues with transportation, health concerns, emergency situations, family crises, deaths, or any other unexpected scenarios. We truly understand and empathize with any situations that may arise, but please understand that the tickets purchased for any event are utilized to cover various expenses in advance, including the event venue, entertainment, keynote speakers, other speakers, food, audiovisual equipment, and more. Given these circumstances, IAHSP is unable to provide refunds for any monies paid towards any event.

In the event that you are unable to attend, we recommend that you transfer your ticket to another attendee using various methods such as social media or networking. It is important to inform us of the details regarding the person who will be purchasing the ticket so that we can update the registration information accordingly.

Furthermore, if for any reason IAHSP is unable to hold the conference event, rest assured that the dollar amount you paid for your registration will be applied towards a future conference event. The amount paid will be credited towards the rescheduled event. However, please note that any increases in future event registration costs would be your responsibility to pay the difference.
