To our Home Staging and Real Estate Industry Colleagues:

IAHSP® International is pleased to release the 2022 Home Staging Industry Statistics. Since 2003, we have tracked and compiled statistics to help educate users of and support the value of our services. As the industry has grown, so has the impact of professional home staging. In order to help support the investment in Staging, statistics are important to share with prospective clients, real estate companies, industry influencers and the public. These results are based on real data and numbers submitted by industry professionals. We want to thank all those who took the time to complete our survey. Your information helps build an overall picture of the positive impact Home Staging makes in the process of selling a property.

With approximately 22% of properties for sale being professionally staged, and increases in final sales price showing 50% of the staged properties netting 6-12% more than list (and an overall range of 1-20%), it is important that anyone in the real estate industry who is hoping to get the most in the sale, use a Pro-Stager to ensure the property is presented the best way for the target buyer.
Those who do not Stage are leaving money behind in the transaction. Ultimately, it is our goal that all properties for sale be prepared by a Pro-Stager prior to listing.
